Curlett Jones Estates was founded by local property legal eagles that have a wealth of experience in delivering residential conveyancing within some of the largest law firms in the North West. We have over 10 years of experience in dealing with the legalities of residential sales and purchase transactions.

Meet The Team
Alan Jones ANAEA
Property Director
Before co-founding Curlett Jones Estates, Alan was a Conveyancer and Department Legal Trainer for Pannone LLP Solicitors based in Manchester. Alan specialised in guiding and supporting clients through the legalities of Sale and Purchase property transaction. Alan is now transferring his skills and knowledge to the Estate Agency sector and has recently achieved a level 3 qualification. Alan lives in the local area with his family. Alan says that his favourite thing to do in Southport is walking down the pier in the wind and rain – apparently it blows away the cobwebs!
Peter Curlett
Operations Manager
Peter is the other half of Curlett Jones Estates. Peter comes from an Event Management Background, being one of the event organisers for Liverpool Capital of Culture 2008 and passionate about customer services. Peter looks after the day to day running of the business. Peter will be supporting Alan and the team in delivering an amazing service and exceeding our client’s expectations. Peter also lives in the local area with his family. Peter says that the thing that makes Southport a great place to live and work are the people. He loves sitting in one of the local Café’s on Lord Street people watching and enjoying a great cup of coffee!
Chloe Roberts
Branch Manager (Southport)
Chloe has worked in the property industry for over 12 years, starting as an apprentice and working her way up over the years to branch management level. Chloe has many years of experience in all aspects of lettings, property management and sales and now uses these skills to oversee both the lettings & sales teams. Chloe utilises her knowledge of both the sales and lettings market to specialise in the selling of investment properties and portfolios, HMO investments and other complexed property transactions. Chloe is currently completing a Level 5 NVQ in Operations Departmental Management and is passionate about providing a high level of service, building strong relationships along the way. Chloe gets the most job satisfaction when customers continue to give repeat business and recommend Curlett Jones to friends and family. In her spare time Chloe enjoys walking her golden retriever puppy Ralphie in Hesketh Park.
Angela McMahon
Sales & Lettings Manager
Angela has over 15 years of experience working within the property sector dealing with Sales and Letting at a Branch Manager Level and Solicitors as a Conveyancer specialising in Residential Sales. Angela heads our Sales and Lettings Teams to ensure that they deliver a first-class service to all our clients and tenants. Angela loves organisation and working with the team to ensure they are supported.
Verity Armitage MARLA
Head of Property Management
Verity has over 20 years experience in the property industry within all sectors of the business. She relocated from London over 18 months ago where she had been working for a large successful property company called Kinleigh Folkard and Hayward. Verity thrives with the variety and challenges that property management and lettings has to offer, it’s such a fast-paced environment and no one day is the same. She loves working in the Southport property market and is very glad she made the decision to move, it’s a great place to live.
Gill Horn
Property Manager (Lettings)
Before joining the Curlett Jones Team, Gill owned her own Estate Agency. Gill has worked with local Estate Agents and has been selling property and managing lettings properties in and around Southport for over 30 years. Gill likes to spend her spare time with her local motorcycle club and is a fan of most music, especially rock music. Hobbies also include yoga, pilates and local history/genealogy. Gill is Southport Born and Bred!
Sharon Swales
Accounts Manager
With over 20 year’s experience in Estate agency, Sharon has spent the last 10 years at Gascoigne Halman Estate Agent in Wilmslow, Cheshire working in Property Management looking after properties for landlords in and around the Cheshire area. Recently relocated to the Southport area, Sharon is enjoying finding all the ‘hidden gems’ in and around Southport, with lovely day trips with her husband and family. Having recently become a first time grandma, Sharon enjoys spending this precious time with her new grandson.
Rachel Bridge
Block Property Manager
Rachel has been managing property for over a decade. She specialises in block and property management including Section 20 work, Accounts and Companies House. She says that she loves the variety of property management, as no two days are the same. She cares about all of her residents and loves to provide an outstanding personal service.
Oliver Starr
Sales Negotiator
Oliver has been with Curlett Jones for almost 2 years, developing his skills as an agent and delivering a high quality of service to our clients. He started as our Lettings Negotiator, before transitioning over to our Sales team. He has recently acquired a Level 3 Apprenticeship Diploma in Business Administration, and is set to expand his qualifications further with an ARLA qualification in Property Sales. Oliver says that he has always been “obsessed” with the property market, and takes a great interest in the wide variety of processes involved in buying, selling and investing in property – along with the endless possibilities that can be achieved with an in-depth knowledge of the market. Oliver is passionate about his work, and this can be seen in the level of service that he strives to provide to our clients, exceeding their expectations daily.
Shanice Griffiths
Lettings Maintenance Co-ordinator
Shanice has 10 years of delivering exceptional Customer Service within the travel and tourism industry, however, has recently left that sector due to the impact of COVID19. Shanice loves working for Curlett Jones and is responsible for general maintenance and tenancy agreements on our letting’s portfolio. Shanice says that she loves dealing with our variety of clients and the different day to day tasks she takes part in.
Charlie Cannon-Noren
Lettings Negotiator
Charlie is new to the property world and has just started his Apprenticeship with Curlett Jones. Charlie loves everything property related and can’t wait to continue his learning journey with the support of his colleagues at Curlett Jones.
Holly Sunter
Lettings Negotiator
Holly has worked in the property industry since the age of 16 where she gained her level 3 business administrator qualification. Holly has experience in both Sales and Lettings which allows her to deliver a rounded high-quality service. Now at Curlett Jones, Holly is carrying on with her lettings negotiator journey and will be offering her professional expertise and knowledge in supporting all clients through the process of finding the right property and tenant. Whether you are a Landlord or a Tenant, Holly can guide and support you through your journey.
Harvey Rothwell
Serviced Accommodation Assistant
Harvey is new to the property world and is starting his journey within our apprenticeship programme. Harvey is eager to expand his property skills and knowledge with the support of his Curlett Jones colleagues and can’t wait to continue his journey.
